Why are we in the payments business?
Jeremy Ochsner answered a newspaper ad in 2002 for credit card processing and residual income. He went on to a seven-year-plus career, and then left to pursue a different avenue in the payments industry. What Jeremy quickly discovered was that most of the companies operated with poor service to merchants and agents and gave trivial excuses for charging merchants more for processing year after year. He knew there was a better way. Stillwater Payments was born and exists to provide a better experience for businesses accepting payments and the people working for them. Jeremy strives to bring respect back to the payments industry by treating others as he would like to be treated through integrity, transparency and lasting relationships. In the end, his desire is to leave business owners at peace in the sometimes turbulent business of payments.
